The CleanNA circulating DNA Kit is designed for high throughput and reliable isolation of circulating DNA from 500 μL to 2 mL plasma/serum samples. This system combines CleanNA’s proprietary magnetic particles with a unique binding system that targets smal- ler DNA fragments (<300 bp) with minimal binding of larger fragments such as gDNA. The kits protocol is fully scalable and apart from manual usage, it can easily be auto- mated on liquid handling workstations (e.g. Beckman, Hamilton, Tecan, Caliper, Perkin Elmer, Agilent and Eppendorf) thanks to the use of our magnetic bead purification technology. The procedure eliminates the needs for funnels and vacuum steps providing hands-free operation in automated protocols. Our Clean Circulating DNA Kit enables high quality DNA, suitable for direct use in most down- stream applications, such as PCR, qPCR and Next Generation Sequencing, to be isolated.
Free Circulating DNA is isolated from the lysates in one step by binding to CleanNA Particles’ surfaces. The CleanNA magnetic particles are separated from the lysates by using a magnetic separation device. Following a few rapid wash steps to remove trace contaminants, the purified DNA is eluted from the CleanNA particles for downstream applications using an Elution Buffer.
